bryr. provides client-side construction advisory and delivery, from those first decisions through to handover. Brisbane-based, working across Australia.

About us

Plenty of advisors leave at the strategy document. We stay through delivery.

The decisions that shape a project happen early: in the brief, the procurement strategy, the contract. That's usually when the people who know how to build are nowhere near the room. We built bryr. to put them there, bringing contractor and owner experience to the client's side from the first decision to handover.

What does bryr. do?

bryr. is a Brisbane-based firm providing client-side construction advisory, project management and quantity surveying. We help government, community and private clients make the early decisions that shape a project, then lead delivery on their behalf through to handover.

What is client-side construction advisory?

Client-side construction advisory is independent advice given to the project owner, not the builder. It covers decisions such as the business case, procurement strategy, contract model, cost and programme, with the aim of protecting the client's budget, risk position and outcome.

When should we engage a construction advisor?

As early as possible, ideally before the brief, budget and procurement approach are locked in. The decisions made in the first stages of a project shape most of its cost and risk, and they're the cheapest to change.

Does bryr. provide quantity surveying?

Yes. Our cost advisory team, led by Principal Cost Advisor Alasdair Macmillan, provides feasibility estimates, cost planning, design-to-budget management, Monte Carlo risk analysis and procurement support across building and infrastructure projects.

Where does bryr. work?

bryr. is based in Brisbane and works across Australia, including regional areas. Current engagements include projects in Queensland and regional New South Wales.
