About Service
Modern Methods of Construction and DfMA projects carry a different kind of complexity. The decisions that determine cost and programme are made in the design phase — well before a site is activated — and getting the interface right between design, manufacture, logistics, and assembly requires people who understand how the system works end to end. Most projects that struggle in this environment don't struggle because the components weren't built right. They struggle because the interfaces between phases weren't managed correctly from the start.
bryr. has planned, procured, and delivered MMC programmes at scale across defence, resources, and remote accommodation — in Australia and internationally.
How We Work
We engage at the design phase — the point where the critical decisions are being made and the cost and programme outcomes are being locked in. We work across the supply chain, the logistics plan, and the assembly sequence to ensure the decisions being made in the design office are compatible with what needs to happen on the ground. From there we manage the interface through manufacture, logistics, and assembly — treating the programme as a connected system rather than a series of separate contracts.
MMC/DfMA procurement strategy. We develop the procurement approach for the full supply chain — identifying how to structure the relationships between designer, manufacturer, and assembler to minimise interface risk and maximise programme performance.
Design-phase programme management. We manage the design phase on behalf of the owner — ensuring the design is being developed in a way that is compatible with manufacture, logistics, and assembly requirements from the start.
Supply chain structuring and management. We identify, engage, and manage the supply chain — including manufacturers, logistics providers, and specialist subcontractors — ensuring each element of the system is performing to programme.
Logistics and staging plan. We develop and manage the logistics and staging plan — coordinating the movement of components from manufacture through to assembly in a sequence that protects the programme.
Assembly sequencing and oversight. We manage the assembly phase on site — coordinating trades, managing interfaces, and ensuring the assembled structure meets the design intent and quality requirements.
Quality and compliance framework. We develop and operate the quality framework for the full programme — ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and client standards across manufacture, logistics, and assembly.
Our Approach to Modern Methods of Construction
MMC/DfMA delivery rewards people who have done it at scale. The complexity of managing a supply chain across multiple locations, coordinating logistics across long distances, and sequencing assembly on a live site is not something that can be learned in the abstract. At bryr. we bring direct delivery experience from programmes involving large-scale modular and prefabricated components, remote and international supply chains, and assembly on constrained sites under significant programme pressure. That experience is what we bring to your project.
