How We Work

We take responsibility for the outcome. That means running the project day to day, managing the contract firmly and fairly, keeping stakeholders informed, and making the calls that keep the work moving. When something goes wrong, and on complex projects something always does, we deal with it directly and focus on what comes next.

You'll always know where the project stands. Reporting is honest and early: the programme, the cost position, the risks and the decisions you need to make, in plain language. No surprises at the monthly meeting.

The people you meet at the start lead the work through to the end. Where we bring less experienced team members in, they work under that leadership, never in place of it.

If we've been involved from the strategy stage, the people who shaped the approach are the ones who deliver it, so nothing gets lost in the handover between advice and delivery.

What we do

Client-side project management. We lead the project on your behalf across the full lifecycle, from scope definition and procurement through construction to handover, accountable for programme, budget and risk.

Program management. Consistent leadership across a program of works: shared standards, coordinated procurement, and reporting that shows how the whole program is tracking as well as each project.

Owner's representative. Your senior voice on the project, protecting your interests with the design team, the builder and other stakeholders.

Superintendent services. Independent contract administration under AS 4000, AS 2124 and other standard forms: assessing progress claims, variations and extensions of time, and issuing directions and certificates fairly and on time.

Design management. Coordinating the design team so the design is complete, buildable and on budget before it reaches the builder.

Construction program leadership. Senior people who step in when a program needs steadying through a critical phase, a leadership transition or a recovery, and operate from day one.

Stakeholder and live-environment management. Delivery in occupied schools, hospitals, bases and communities, where staging, safety and communication carry as much risk as the construction.

Handover and close-out. Commissioning, defects, documentation and lessons captured, confirming the outcome you were promised.

Some clients want the project delivered and their own team strengthened in the process. We can do both. We lead the work and bring your people into it: the systems, the templates, the decision-making and the judgement. When we step back, you have a team that has done it before and the tools to do it again.

Brad has been Project Director and Managing Contractor's Representative on national Defence programs, including the $330 million AIR5428 Pilot Training Systems program across five RAAF bases, and has led LNG delivery and state construction operations in Queensland.
